LT-451

Laboratory Grade Cure Monitor

The LT-451 Dielectric Cure Monitor is a compact, versatile instrument designed for Research & Development, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, and Production applications involving thermoset materials--resins, composites, paints and coatings.

The wide 0.001 Hz – 100 KHz frequency range of the LT-451 allows frequency sweeping for studies of dielectric properties, and sensitivity to very high resistivity and ion viscosity (very low conductivity and loss factor). The associated thermocouple input allows correlation of temperature with cure rate and material properties.

The CureView Data Acquisition Software has functions for defining cure monitoring parameters; data acquisition, analysis and recall; plotting and printing.

When used with either disposable or reuseable dielectric sensors, also available from Lambient Technologies, or the user’s own sensors, the LT-451 Dielectric Cure Monitor and CureView data acquisition software form a complete measurement system for studying dielectric material properties in all processing environments.

LTF-631

High Speed Cure Monitor

The LTF-631 High Speed Dielectric Cure Monitor is designed for the study of rapidly reacting materials in Research & Development, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, and Production applications involving thermoset materials--resins, composites, paints and coatings. The 10 Hz to 10 KHz frequency range of the LTF-631 permits excellent sensitivity for SMC/BMC and UV curing systems, and the associated thermocouple input allows correlation of temperature with cure rate and material properties.

The LTF-631 is available with a maximum of four dielectric channels. Each channel consists of one mid-conductivity dielectric sensor input and one thermocouple input. A single-channel instrument may be upgraded at any time with additional channels. In addition to the dielectric channel(s), the LTF-631 has two general analog inputs which may be used for pressure sensors and LVDT signals.

LT-439

Dielectric Channel
Dielectric Channel

The LT-439 Dielectric Channel is a cost effective, compact instrument designed for cure monitoring in R&D, Quality Control/Quality Assurance and manufacture of thermoset materials—resins, composites, paints and coatings. The LT 439 will accept all Lambient Technologies dielectric/conductivity sensors, and most other dielectric or conductivity sensors.

Measurements from the LT-439 may be interfaced to any control network through its RS-485 serial port. Each LT-439 supports one dielectric sensor and one thermocouple but up to 256 individual Dielectric Channels may be connected on a single RS-485 line. This low-cost flexibility eliminates complex cabling and allows simultaneous, multi-channel cure monitoring of material state at any point in a large part.

Lambient Technologies provides optional CureView software to control the LT-439 for a complete dielectric cure monitoring system. With CureView the user can define cure monitoring parameters, acquire and store data, recall and analyze data, and plot and print results. Information about cure state from the LT-439 also can be easily incorporated in the user’s own process control software.

The standard LT-439 Dielectric Channel has excitation frequencies of 10 Hz, 100 Hz, 1.0 KHz and 10 KHz for selection of the optimum frequency for the application. The LT-439 also has an expanded frequency option with a range from 1.0 Hz to 100 KHz.

When used with either disposable or reusable dielectric/conductivity sensors, also available from Lambient Technologies, or the user’s own sensors, the LT-439 Dielectric Channel Interface becomes a complete system for dielectric cure monitoring in all processing environments.

Up to 256 LT-439 instruments may be distributed along a single RS-485 bus.
